Rich in history, the Wollongong Hawks are the last remaining foundation club in the National Basketball League.

32 years on and still standing strong the club has been rejuvenated in 2009 when it went from private ownership to community owned.

The introduction of this new organisational structure and philosophy captured the imagination of the entire Wollongong community cemented the Wollongong Hawks position as one of the most successful and resilient clubs in the National Basketball League competition.
